Wet scrubbing using a machine
Removing highly stubborn soiling from floor coverings using the LS single-brush machine with a wet scrubbing pad or scrubbing brush. Suitable for water-resistant floor coverings.
Preparatory work
Select suitable products to match the surface to be cleaned (type / square metres) and the type of soiling
Check, equip and ready the machine and all accessories in compliance with the instructions for use.
Fill the water tank of the machine with cleaning product in accordance with the dosing instructions.
Put up the warning sign. Cover vulnerable areas (e.g. skirting boards) as needed.
Remove any loose dirt (dust-binding mopping or dry vacuum cleaning).
Main task
Use the edge cleaning tool and a suitable pad to manually wet scrub along the edges.
Attach the scrubbing pad with the LS pad drive disc or the scrubbing brush to the LS single-brush machine.
Set the correct height for the upright handle.
Switch on the machine. The connection must audibly click into place.
Wet scrub the floor using the LS single-brush machine and the scrubbing pad with cleaning solution in slightly overlapping passes and a circular motion.
Allow the cleaning solution to take effect as needed, but don't let it dry. Then wet scrub the floor covering one more time.
Reverse or replace the pad when it gets dirty; continue with step 2 of the main task until the entire area is wet scrubbed.
Remove the dissolved dirt and the remaining cleaning solution with the wet vacuum cleaner (wet vacuuming) or use the sponge rubber floor squeegee to sweep the liquid into a floor drain (wiping off/pushing).
Rinse the floor covering with a fresh pad and clear water as needed, remove the dissolved dirt and the remaining cleaning solution (wet vacuuming).
Perform a visual check.
Final steps
Remove the warning sign once the floor covering is dry.
Remove the covering material.
Empty the water tank; rinse as needed and leave it open to dry.
Check the power cable for visible damage, clean the cable and roll it up loosely towards the plug.
Rinse the used pads and wash them in the washing machine.
