Stain removal - Rinsing method
Removing larger stains (spot-cleaning) from surfaces and floor areas using the carpet cleaner and the wet vacuum cleaner. Suitable for water-resistant, textile floor coverings, carpets, textiles or upholstery.
Preparatory work
Select suitable products to match the surface to be cleaned (type / square metres) and the type of soiling.
Fill the bucket with cleaning product in accordance with the dosing instructions.
Put up the warning sign.
Use a plastic spatula to carefully break up and lift any encrustations.
Thoroughly remove any loose dirt (dry vacuuming or brush vacuuming).
Colour fastness pre-test:
Spray a small amount of stain remover onto an inconspicuous spot of the surface and leave for a short while to take effect. Then carefully dab it with the white, lint-free cloth. Continue if the surface is colour-fast (the method is otherwise unsuitable).
Main task
Pour a ring of cold water around the stain.
Pour the cleaning product solution directly onto the stain.
Work on the stain manually (e.g. with a soft brush or sponge).
Remove the dissolved dirt and the remaining cleaning solution with the wet vacuum cleaner (wet vacuuming).
Repeat the process until the stain is removed.
Rinse the stain with plenty of water while removing it with a wet vacuum cleaner (wet vacuuming).
As needed: Evenly straighten the carpet pile at the stain location with the soft brush.
Allow the treated surface to dry completely.
Final steps
Empty and rinse out the wet vacuum cleaner.
Check the power cable for visible damage, clean the cable and roll it up loosely towards the plug.
Remove the warning sign.
Dispose of any waste.
Clean the cleaning equipment and replace as needed.
