Novaline world first

Novaline

  • Most sustainable cleansing line ever thanks to biosurfactants

  • For cleaning washable and water-resistant floor coverings

  • For cleaning acid-resistant surfaces and equipment

  • Saving resources

  • Very good biodegradability according to OECD 302b

Novaline offers you these advantages

  • Recipe

Biosurfactants are produced in a patented process by fermentation with microorganisms. Palm oil and chemically synthesised substances are completely avoided. Instead, natural raw materials are used. This reduces CO₂ emissions by 30 to 50 % compared to conventional surfactants. Production is more resource-efficient than with other sustainable product lines.

  • Production & Logistics

Made in Switzerland guarantees local production with the highest quality and low-emission production without chemical synthesis – and with short delivery routes. Novaline products are developed in Switzerland and are largely produced with raw materials of European origin. This strengthens a sustainable supply chain and supports the regional economy. Wetrok produces exclusively in companies with ISO 14001 certification.

  • Packaging

The packaging is also sustainable: Novaline canisters are made from 50% recycled plastic – reducing CO₂ emissions by 21%. Wetrok takes back the empty canisters and ensures that they are professionally recycled so that new products can be made from them. Accessory bottles are reusable and the screen-printed labelling extends the application time.

  • Application & Performance

Novaline combines cleaning performance, material protection and safety. The biosurfactants dissolve grease effectively and are gentle on surfaces at the same time. Sustainable colourants improve user safety, depending on the product. The proven Wetrok foaming method saves detergent and water. Discreet fragrances also create a noticeably clean feeling in the room.

Innovation with biosurfactants
The future of cleaning

Traditionally, surfactants are usually obtained from petroleum or vegetable oils such as palm oil. However, the use of palm oil has been criticised, as rainforests are often cleared for this purpose and monocultures are created.

With Novaline, Wetrok is taking a different approach: the biosurfactants are obtained through natural fermentation and are highly biodegradable – even in sewage treatment plants.

The resource-saving production of Novaline reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 50% and thus makes an important contribution to climate protection.

Developed in its own laboratory in Switzerland, Wetrok has succeeded for the first time in creating stable cleaning concentrates for professional use using biosurfactants.
